On 8th August 2016, some of our members went on the Day Centre bus to Dunbar Harbour

Here is an extract from the Scottish Seabird Centre's Volunteers' Newsletter written by Mary Tebble (Mary is the lady in blue on the right of the photograph inside the bus):-

"The North Berwick Day Centre bus took a busload of us to Dunbar Harbour where we saw the SEAL bottling [This is a GREY SEAL, its roman nose very obvious!  We also saw KITTIWAKES swimming and on the castle walls where they have been breeding [as seen on the Seabird Centre camera!] We admired the wonderful variety of wildflowers blooming on the verges as we travelled to and from Dunbar. Meadowsweet and large hairy willowherb and rosebay willowherb were particularly enjoyed AND the wonderful blue cornflowers"

We have to admit a bit of cheating. Only the first 2 pictures were taken on 8th August 2016. The other pictures were taken in 2015, on a previous trip by members to Dunbar Harbour.
